Different work. Same question: what’s this really about?

Different work. Same question: what’s this really about?

A skating team. A rainforest. An ice dance school. Different worlds, different people. I don’t start by deciding what kind of film they should become. I start by trying to understand what’s actually there.

STORY FILMS

The subject should decide the film.

I don’t begin with a format or a list of things a client wants included. I begin with the people, the circumstances and what we’re really trying to understand.

Some stories need documentary footage and natural sound. Some need narration, photography or music. Some need less.

The choices change because the story changes.

I.AM – ONTARIO

I.AM – Ontario

ICE IGNITE JUNIOR

Why We Skate

More than a sport. A place to belong.

A collective portrait of synchronized skating, shared responsibility and what happens when young athletes learn to trust one another enough to move as one.

MONTESSORI ACADEMY OF LONDON

We’re Not Tourists, We Are Travellers

Travel should change the way we see the world.

A film following Montessori adolescents into the Costa Rican rainforest, where learning happened through service, discomfort, responsibility and direct experience.

A DIFFERENT STORY
